At the Greater Yuma Port Authority, it’s all about partnerships. Our success is thanks to the hard work of our board, which includes members from the City of San Luis, Yuma County, the City of Yuma and the Sovereign Nation of the Cocopahs.
The $359 million San Luis I Port of Entry project will expand vehicle processing from 8 to 16 lanes and expand pedestrian processing from 10 to 14 lanes. The port will remain fully operational through this project, which is expected to be completed in Fall of 2028. GYPA is proud to be a partner in this project, advocating for both safer roadways and the economic future of Yuma County!
GYPA has developed industrial space at the Magrino Industrial Park to welcome new businesses with water, sewer, power and grading near the San Luis II Commercial Port of Entry. We are site-ready for businesses looking to relocate or expand here!
We’re centrally located to major Western markets, just a one-day truck haul to over 52 million customers.
The Robert A. Vaughan Expressway (State Route 195) has facilitated smooth, easy access from the San Luis Commercial Port of Entry to Interstate 8, carving out a better path for commercial drivers.
